Fox Attacks Mutant X

A brawl has developed between entertainment producers 20th-Century Fox and Tribune Entertainment over the upcoming syndicated series Mutant X. Tribune is distributing the series, set to debut this fall, in partnership with series producers Marvel Comics and Fireworks Entertainment. However, Fox is suing to stop production claiming that the series is a rip-off of Fox's hit from last summer, X-Men, which is based on the Marvel Comics series. Fox released a statement late Wednesday that said, "Although we value our good relationship with Marvel and hope this can be resolved, we must take all appropriate action to protect our very valuable X-Men rights."
