WB Backs Super Team

Warner Bros. Pictures has hired Andrew Kevin Walker to write an untitled cinematic team up between  Superman and Batman for director Wolfgang Petersen (The Perfect Storm). This new project joins a group of other Batman or Superman films, including the long-delayed Jon Peters-produced Superman, a live action version of Batman Beyond and the next Batman film, scheduled to be directed by Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream). Petersen signed a deal in January to direct for Warner Bros. under his Radiant Productions banner.

Walker is also adapting the Marvel comic Silver Surfer for 20th Century Fox. He's best known for his scripts for Seven and Sleepy Hollow.
